Terms

Academy

  • Evaluation session: 1 free session is offered to determine skill level & pathway suitability of student
  • Academy sessions: must be booked and paid for either per term (10 weeks), 6 months or a full year
  • Non-attendance: catch up sessions will not be granted for any circumstance
  • Catch up sessions: will only be offered if and when SBFC cancel session
  • Student training uniform: students must arrive and leave in it and it is compulsory they train in the SBFC training strip or they will not be able to train
  • Students must arrive at the training venue at least 15 minutes prior to training start time and 30 min prior to games
  • Payments: can be made by cheque, direct debit or cash. If making a direct deposit please use students full name as the payment reference & or email the confirmation receipt to felipe@southbrisbanefc.com.au
  • All payments: must be made prior to commencing any sessions. Students will not be able to train unless fees are paid in full
  • Refund Policy: There will be no refund for missed sessions. Refunds will be honoured for students who have an injury which exceeds 1 full term & provide a medical certificate.
  • Responsibility: of the parent/caregiver of each student to provide accurate personal information, such as address, medical and phone numbers and inform SBFC if these details change
  • Photography: the parent/caregiver should formally advise SBFC if they do not give permission for their child to be photographed for promotional material, including but not limited to the club website.

Leagues

This code of behaviour shall apply to all players, referees, coaches, managers and officials either registering with, or officially involved in South Brisbane FC leagues or tournaments, and any breach thereof, shall constitute an offence, which is subject to disciplinary action by South Brisbane FC..

1. All players, coaches, managers and teams officials should play the game in a spirit of fair play, including abiding by the Laws of the Game and accepting of the referee’s decision.

2. All players, coaches, managers and club officials must not, during the course of or after a match under the jurisdiction of South Brisbane FC, abuse or address a Referee or Assistant referee in an insulting or offensive manner.

3. All players, coaches, managers, club officials and referees must not engage in violent acts, verbal abuse, offensive language or behaviour, or acts likely to incite others, including spectators, to engage in such behaviour, or any other conduct that is detrimental to the spirit or image of the game.

4.  All players, coaches, managers, officials and referees must at all times, while under the control of South Brisbane FC fixtures, act, dress and behave in public in a manner which does not bring the game into disrepute.

5. All participants must at all times comply with any reasonable direction, given by any South Brisbane FC official at any of the playing venues, in respect to behaviour at a match, keeping the playing field clear and in endeavouring to assist officials in maintaining control of spectators and players. All managers, coaches, club officials will also endeavour to control the behaviour of team supporters to accord with the general principles of the Code of Conduct as detailed herein.

6. Failure to comply with all or part of this Code of Conduct will result in the offender being dealt with by the appropriate disciplinary committee of South Brisbane FC.
